JAPAN

ASSALAMUALAIKUM

To be honest, I 'm never have been to Japan before.. you I want to share a bit ethics in Japan

Japanese people like to greet anyone including foreigner.

A Japanese people like to greet you such as : ohayou gozaimasu (good morning), konnichiwa (hello) and more. So someday if somebody in Japan greet you, you know how to reply. Don't forget also to little bit bow your body when greet people.

Not standing in front of cashier before your turn to pay

At convenience stores in some countries, people usually directly go to cashier or wait close to cashier when they are done shopping and want to pay. However, in Japan, unless there is no queue, you have to fall in line before the cashier calls you.

You will have Japanese slippers when you visit somebody's house or public place.

In Japan, you have to take out your shoes and change it with Japanese slippers when visited somebody house or other places like office and temples and other public buildings.

When at the restaurant

At the restaurant, you will have a towel or wet tissue provided to clean your hands before eating. In Japan it is considered impolite to burp. Depend on where you eat, some places require you to return tray, plate and glass after you put the rest of your food into garbage when you finished eating. So be watchful and see what people around you doing.

I hope i will be there one day.
